Tom Jenkins, President and CEO
Mr. Jenkins is a seasoned financial services executive with over 30 years of experience with four leading Midwestern financial services organizations. In addition to founding Marquette Capital Partners, Mr. Jenkins served as Chief Lending Officer at the $6 billion Marquette banking organization from 1990 until its divestiture in 2002. Mr. Jenkins' lending and investment experience spans hundreds of companies across a wide variety of industries. He is a graduate of Lawrence University. He earned a BBA in finance at the University of Wisconsin and earned his MBA at DePaul University. Greg Dames, Managing Director
The focus of Mr. Dames' 20-year career has been on structuring senior debt and mezzanine investments to middle market
companies. Prior to joining Marquette Capital Partners, Mr. Dames was the head of commercial lending at Marquette Capital Bank, a highly
successful start-up business bank. He is a graduate of Rice University and earned his MA in international relations at Yale University.
Steve Heinen, Managing Director
Mr. Heinen has over 15 years of experience in the leveraged finance and private capital marketplace. He
joined Marquette Capital Partners from CapitalSource where he was responsible for developing the Midwest marketplace for the Corporate
Finance Business. His prior investment experience includes Managing Director positions with Mesirow Financial and BNP Paribas' Merchant Banking
Group. He is also a CPA and began his career at Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Heinen holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management
and earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from Drake University.
Maggie Yanez, Vice President - Portfolio Manager
Ms. Yanez has over 25 years of commercial lending experience in the middle market. Prior to joining Marquette Capital
Partners, Ms. Yanez was a senior commercial lender at Marquette Capital Bank. She is a graduate of Iowa State University.
David Shapiro, Vice President
David has 13 years of leveraged finance and private capital experience. Prior to joining Marquette Capital Partners,
Mr. Shapiro had structured finance portfolio responsibilities at U.S. Bank, Minneapolis. He is a graduate of Syracuse University and earned
his MBA at the University of St. Thomas.
